Visit to an Orphanage - 23rd December, 2016

The students of CRP visited Ummeed Aman Ghar, an Orphanage, on 23 rd December, 2016 where they interacted with the boys living there, danced, sang and played various games with them. Eatables brought by the students and the blankets gifted by the school were given to these children. This visit exhibited the intense desire of the students to serve the destitute, needy and disadvantaged sections of the society.

Visit to old age home - 17th August, 2016

The students of Community Reach Programme accompanied by faculty members - Mrs Veena Salaria, Mrs Meera Aggarwal and guest faculty - Mrs Sita Aiyar visited the old age home - Gharunda at Asola on 17 August 2016 where the students interacted with the elders ,listened to their life experiences and pearls of wisdom.The girls tied Rakhi on the wrist of the male members ,sang songs and the team members distributed eatables among the occupants of the home seeking their blessings. The students imbibed the traits of co- operation ,respect for the elders,empathy , living for others and giving back to the society.

Community Service – Creative Hands for help - 7th May, 2016

The students of all classes came forward for Community Reach Programme (PrimaryWing) and donated generously clothes, stationery items for the underprivileged section of the society. It's really creative hands for help which is indeed the need of the society!

CRP Team Visited Muskaan – 7th October, 2015

On 7 October CRP Team accompanied by Mrs Veena Salaria ,Mrs Saroj and guest faculty Mrs Sita Aiyyar visited the Muskaan Vocational Training Work Center to interact with all the differently abled students watching them cope up with challenges of life and learning different vocations with keen interest .The Team members personally gave them the gifts given by the school authorities which brought broad smile on their face with a feeling of being loved, wanted, respected and accepted the way they are.
The CRP Team's journey of reaching out the people in need and sensitizing others about offering every kind of assistance to them will not end with this endeavour. It will continue its selfless work of working not only with their hands but with their hearts.

Visit by Muskaan – 6th October 2015

Some adults with intellectual disabilities from Muskaan Vocational Training Work Center ,Vasant Kunj,accompanied by two teachers visited Poorna Prajna Public School on 6 October 2015 .They were hosted by the school Community Reach Programme Team headed by Mrs Veena Salaria ,Mrs Saroj,Mrs Komal and guest faculty Mrs Sita Aiyyar .The event was graced by school manager,Mr Ratan Singh ,Principal, Mr Sandeep Dahiya,Vice -Principal ,Mrs Anju Singh ,Headmistress ,Mrs Archana Bhatnagar .The guests thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment Programme put up by the students of class VIII.The visit gave the students of CRP an opportunity to interact with individuals with varying degrees of disability ,to understand them,respect them as equals ,facilitate creation of an inclusive society. It strengthened their determination to bring smiles ,to reach out to  all the needy,sick ,unprivileged sections of the society. The school manager addressed the gathering assuring of his unflinching support to enable CRP Team to carry out their social responsibility with a sense of commitment to sensitize and raise awareness about the need to respect the rights of differently abled.The Principal proposed a vote of thanks and the Vice -Principal concluded the event with three cheers for the commendable work done by Muskaan NGO in transforming the lives of the adults in its training centre.

Visit to AIIMS Hospital by Community Reach Programme students on 8th May, 2015

27 students of class IX under community reach programme visited AIIMS Hospital on 8th May, 2015 accompanied by CRP Co-ordinator Ms. Veena Salaria & Guest Faculty Ms. Sita Ayyar. The interaction of the students with Help Age India volunteers at the Hospital was very educative & informative & they learnt about the help rendered by the organization to the Senior citizens visiting the hospital. They were motivated & inspired to help & look after the economically backward sections & the senior Citizens. The visit strengthened their determination to give back to the society in their humble way.
